Hi, I’m Ellah—a 20-year-old photographer with a love for pink and a passion for capturing genuine, joy-filled moments. I know being in front of the camera can feel a little intimidating, so I keep things relaxed (and add a few jokes along the way) to help you feel like yourself.
My goal is simple: to create an experience where you feel confident, comfortable, and truly seen—so you walk away smiling and loving both your photos and the memories behind them.
My Story
Hi, I’m Ellah—and photography has been a part of my heart for as long as I can remember.
I’ve always been drawn to creativity. While math and science were never really my thing, I found my place in art and writing classes where I could truly express myself. I fell in love with photography in high school, starting in a black and white film class my sophomore year. There was something so special about the entire process—from going out and taking photos to developing them by hand. It felt like magic. The next year, I explored digital photography, and my love for it only grew stronger.
When I was 17, my parents surprised me with my very first camera, and from that moment on, I was hooked. I photographed everything—my friends, nature, everyday moments. Soon after, I was given the opportunity to photograph my high school’s girls soccer team, and I’ve been lucky enough to continue working with them ever since. That experience meant so much to me, and I’ll always be grateful they believed in me early on.
For a long time, I thought I wanted to become a vet tech because of my deep love for animals. But as I grew and reflected, I realized my heart was leading me somewhere else. After touring DMACC, I decided to take a chance on photography—and that decision changed everything.
I wouldn’t be here without my parents. They’ve supported me from the very beginning and never once doubted me. My mom—my biggest encourager—has always reminded me that I’m capable of more than I think, especially on the days I needed it most. And my dad has been right there beside me, helping me navigate the business side of things and cheering me on every step of the way. Their love and support mean everything to me.
Now, I’m 20, graduated from DMACC, and building a life doing what I love. I’m so grateful for how far I’ve come, for the people who support me, and for every moment that’s led me here.
Photography isn’t just something I do—it’s how I connect, tell stories, and capture the moments that matter most. I’m so glad you’re here.
